Country Sales Manager UK


Salary: Negotiable depending on experience with a yearly bonus and car allowance.

Reporting To: Sales Director

Location: Home/ Cambridge office based, National travel.


Viridian Solar is a market leader of integrated solar for UK. We are now looking for someone special in the UK to carry on its strong position in the solar industry.

The company’s growth strategy is to engage with more house builders across the UK whilst still growing its solar installer side of the business. Your primary task will be growing and more importantly maintaining existing relationships with house builders, wholesalers and solar installers across the UK. Another part of your role will be to target more house builders and then working closely with the design team to assist these house builders with energy specification requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Developing our relationship with existing customers through regular contact
  • Making outbound calls to potential and existing house builders & solar installers. These calls may include introducing our products, assisting with designs and arranging meetings
  • Providing quotations and sales to these customers, as required, and following up where necessary
  • Keeping records of people who are contacted
  • Appointment making for factory visits or training
  • Demonstrating growth over the year with your client list
  • Giving corporate presentations

Tasks

  • Visits to builders/ installers/ wholesalers
  • Signing and renewing house builder specification deals
  • Outbound calling to existing and new client list
  • Finding new opportunities in our sector
  • Being active on social media platforms
  • Making sure CRM systems are kept up to date with task list
  • Working with UK wholesalers to open more opportunities
  • National travel
  • Working with members of the sales team to record and look after incoming enquires from private individuals
  • Give quarterly updates on sales progress and opportunities
