Country Sales Manager - Germany


Salary: Negotiable depending on experience with a yearly bonus and car allowance.

Reporting To: Sales Director

Location: Home based, Germany. Travel throughout Germany, Austria and other German speaking countries.


Viridian Solar is a market leader for roof-integrated solar in the UK. With recent success in opening new opportunities in the rest of Europe, Viridian Solar is fast growing company with some very exciting times ahead.

Your primary task will be to identify and find new solar installers across Germany, Austria and Swizerland. A key part to this role will be working closely with our Dutch Country Manager and existing German wholesalers. Your role will also include winning housebuilder specifications and then working closely with the design team to assist these housebuilders with their design requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Developing our relationship with existing customers through regular contact
  • Making outbound calls to potential solar installers. These calls may include introducing our products, assisting with designs and arranging meetings
  • Providing quotations to these customers, as required, and following up where necessary
  • Keeping records of people who are contacted
  • Appointment-making for factory visits or training
  • Demonstrating growth over the year with your client list

Tasks

  • Visits to builders/ installers/ wholesalers
  • Signing and renewing house builder specification deals
  • Outbound calling to existing and new client list
  • Finding new opportunities in our sector
  • Being active on social media platforms
  • Making sure CRM systems are kept up to date with task list
  • Working with UK wholesalers to open more opportunities
  • National travel including other German speaking countries
  • Working with members of the sales team to record and look after incoming enquires from private individuals
  • Give quarterly updates on sales progress and opportunities
