Viridian Solar has today announced an addition to its range of solar panels for its Clearline Fusion roof-integration system. A new 270Wp PV16-270 joins the 250Wp PV16-250 panel and will be available from May 12th 2016.
"We anticipate that the 250Wp model will remain the most popular choice for our customers working in new build." said KT Tan, Technical Director at Viridian Solar, "Housebuilders often specify solar in multiples of a quarter of a kilowatt peak. In this sector, smaller installations of between one half and one kilowatt peak are still the rule, so minimising roof space is rarely an issue. However, we believe that having the option of a higher power module will be useful as aesthetic solar becomes more popular for retrofit and solar systems on new build houses increase in size."
The Clearline Fusion system was launched in September 2015 and the company has already added specialist fixings for Scottish slate roofs (the first of their kind to be tested to MCS012).
"The customer reaction to Clearline Fusion has been superb," said Stuart Elmes, CEO of Viridian Solar. "we are getting fantastic feedback from installers and developers that have tried it. They just love how simple and quick it is to achieve a high quality roof integrated finish."
